Graves' Disease ΓÇô Goitre
The goitre in Graves' disease is usually diffuse and symmetrical (Fig. 17.22) and readily moves upwards with the larynx on swallowing. The presence of a continuous vascular murmur is virtually diagnostic of hyperthyroidism.
